Keith is a retired senior police officer who spent more than 30 years in the first and second largest police forces in the country. He states that one of his greatest achievements during his time was setting up the cultural and communities resource unit in London, before moving to the West Midlands. He has the honour of being appointed as the Chair of the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales, as a board member responsible for the overrepresentation of black Asian and minority ethnic young people in the youth justice system, across England and Wales. He was appointed by the Prime Minister as a Commissioner on the UK Race and Ethnic Disparities Commission. He is Trustee for Sport Birmingham and the 999 Cenotaph. He is also an ambassador for clean sheet and a patron for the Old St Monicans and Employability UK and a Non-Exec Director for SFJ Awards and an Official supporter for the National Centre for Domestic Violence. He is passionate about ensuring that every community is given the opportunity to be themselves and flourish.
